Nick Romanides DMD
Dr. Romanides was born in Thessaloniki, Greece and comes from a long line of dentists. He decided to become an Orthodontist because it was a mixture of aesthetics and science. “My works of art are the smiles of my patients.”
Dr. Romanides has been practicing in North Bergen for over 30 years. “I have been creating beautiful smiles for generations and strive for perfection in a comfortable environment.” Together with Dr. Trulby and his highly skilled staff of many years, he provides a full scope of services and is ready to serve the community.
During his free time, Dr. Romanides loves to play Chess, read literature in 3 languages, and listens to Jazz.
Education
Dr. Romanides graduated from City University with a degree in Mathematics. He completed his dentist and orthodontics training at UMDNJ, now known as Rutgers.
Experience
Dr. Romanides has been serving Hudson/Bergen County for over 30 years. He has published five articles in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and has been mentioned two different years in the Editorial of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Ryan Trulby DDS
“Though I grew up in Bergen County, both my parents were born and raised in Hudson County and I have always felt at home here. Visiting family in Union City and North Bergen or munching on a Cubano and moros with my dad after getting my braces tightened are among my favorite memories.
This area is like no place else: an amazing amount of diversity, tight-knit communities, and, of course, the most delicious food (my favorite).

Education
Dr. Trulby graduated from Rutgers University (R! U!).
He completed his dental and orthodontics training at Columbia University just across the river, where he was chief resident and received awards for graduating at the top of his class.
Experience
Ryan continues to be involved at Columbia as an associate orthodontics faculty and secretary of the Columbia Orthodontics Alumni Society.
He’s completed several advanced training courses in Invisalign and a variety of additional topics, always aiming to learn something new every day.
